As tourists continue to steer clear of Donald Trump’s America, the US
travel industry is bearing the brunt of his unpopular policies.

Since Donald Trump took office, almost a third (29 per cent) of Britons
said they have been put off holidaying in America and flight searches to
the US have dropped overall by 13 per cent, according to a poll by
flight comparison site Cheapflights.co.uk.

“A significant number of Brits have been spooked by what they see
happening over the pond, and are beginning to vote with their clicks as
they explore alternative options for travel in 2017,” said managing
director of Cheapflights Andrew Shelton. “With UK travellers
contributing nearly $5 billion a year to the US economy, tourism chiefs
in the country should take note of what could be a substantial reduction
in support for a major industry there.”

Let me get this right. You are not coming here because we are limiting
our intake of Muslims. You come here to see Muslims? I thought you had
plenty of your own and you are trying to limit their immigration there

I don't agree with Ed's analysis as percentages. There are millions
of muslims here and very few incidents. It's just that those incidents
are terrorism, some of it involving big numbers of deaths, so it gets
a lot of coverage and rightly so. Examples are Orlando, San Bernardino,
Boston Marathon, 9/11, etc. But by felonies,
violent crime, etc, as a percentage by group, you're correct, blacks
lead.

I said "makes the news" Often it is crime against them, not by them. I
don't ever recall a Muslim accused of a hold up or bank robbery.

That stuff doesn't fit the 'news' agenda.

It's entirely possible this and other similar incidents were perpetrated
by men in drag. They are frequent enough that a burqa ban might be
reasonable.

I don't see very much of that on the NYC tv channels or radio.
I do see a whole lot about blacks claiming that they have been
unfairly singled out. Yesterday it was Di Blasio making marijuana
a ticket offense, instead of an arrest. IDK what to think about
that. In general, I;d have no problem with it. But since the lib
mayor came to town, NYC has been going to hell and part of that is
that now most subway platforms, many public open areas, all you
smell is pot smoke. It wasn't there a few years ago. So, if you
go from an arrest to a ticket, then what? This in a city that shoved
cigar and cigarette smokers out of even private rooms, from all open
spaces, and keeps pushing them further and further. But dope, it's
OK. Go figure.

But, back to the topic, the big justification for that is that it's
implied that it's unfair to blacks because 90% of the arrests have
been blacks. There was a black leader saying if your black and
smoking pot you get jail, if you're white you go to Yale. The
implication is that the cops are unfairly targeting blacks and
I don't see anyone challenging it. Is it true? Or are about 90%
of the dope smokers simply black? And there are likely other factors,
like the white guy, the cops look them up, see they have no priors,
so maybe they look the other way and let them go. They look up
the black guy and find he has 6 prior arrests or an outstanding warrant,
or he has crack on him too,
then what? They add the marijuana charge. But today it's become
that because far more blacks are arrested for whatever, it's not
because they are doing it, it's because the cops are bad for not
arresting people in race proportionate numbers. What's next?
If we have too many white axe murderers, get some blacks and give
them axes to even it out?

And again to the topic, I see things like this, things where blacks
are claiming they are being profiled, the BLM stuff on TV all the time.
It's orders of magnitude more than anything about incidents involving
muslims. Which given 9/11 and the world today says a lot.

It took 60 seconds to find out. These chart make it VERY apparent.

You conveniently left out the rest of what I posted, which is even
if the rate of usage is about the same, what are the rap sheets on
the blacks that are stopped vs the whites? If a cop stops a person
and they have 10 prior arrests, an outstanding warrant, have crack
in their pocket too, or they were stopped because they were just
caught shop lifting, are they just as likely to be charged with the
marijuana possession as someone who has a clean record? In other
words, we know blacks are committing a far higher percentage of
crimes compared to whites. It's reasonable to expect that the cops
will come across them in the pursuit of other crimes and if you're
busting someone for shop lifting or purse snatching and find pot
on them, what would you do, as compared to a white guy that had
nothing but the pot? Simply by the fact that blacks are causing
more crime overall means that they will come into contact with cops
at a much higher rate, which in itself leads to discovering the pot
at a higher rate.

A lot of it is perception.  Why do black "leaders" like Reverend Farrakhan, Reverend Jackson and Reverend Sharpton defend their street thugs/criminals?

Did you see any white protesters burning down the town when Tim and Jammy Baker were arrested/tried/convicted?  The only reaction I saw was applause.
