I'm not a fan of purchasing items on Amazon, but sometimes I must.

A few days ago, I did purchase an item on Amazon, and a few days later, I
received this postcard, offering a $70 Amazon gift card if I gave a 5 star
review for the item I purchased. (What if I don't like the item?)

The offer is for the 'Early Reviewer Program'. This seems like bribery to
me. I will not bite, or participate. I always doubted Amazon reviews, and
this offer reinforces my opinion of their reviews.

When I searched about the 'Early Reviewer Program', it seems that program was
cancelled in early 2021.

I am aware of Amazon Vine review, but this isn't it.

Anyone ever get this sort of offer lately?

Sounds shady, I'd be skeptical too.

I do look at some of the reviews when I buy something. Some seem
accurate, some, especially the one star, are stupid. Many have nothing
to do with the product, but they are pissed that it was a day late or
the box was dirty.

A new-to-me scam was in today's news - a social service
organization supposedly received a $ 25 k bequest/donation
from a person's Estate - then "mistakenly" received $ 65. k and
were asked to return the excess $ 40. k . . .
luckily they recognized the signs of a scam in time ..
