Looks like some people can vote any place they want to.

Former Michigan Rep. Mike Rogers (R), the leading candidate for the
Michigan Republican nomination for the U.S. Senate, was revealed to be a
registered voter in Florida.

Rogers represented Michigan’s eighth congressional district from 2001 to
2015. As a native of the state, he hopes to once again represent
Michigan in Congress.

“I’m proud to be born and raised right here in Michigan,” he wrote in an
X post. “And I will be proud to serve my home in the U.S. Senate.”

The tweet caused Austin Cook, the communications director for Democratic
U.S. Senate candidate and Rogers’ rival, Rep. Elissa Slotkin
(D-Michigan), to post a screenshot of the former representative’s voter
registration record.

The record shows a Florida ZIP code and that he has “active” voter
status in Cape Coral, Florida.

I think anyone with enough money to have 60% equity in a home ought to
be eligible to vote there. If he has 7 homes, he should be able to vote
7 places. After all, that's what money is for.

OTOH, anyone who rents or lives in a tent shouldn't be allowed to vote
at all. How can you trust them if they can't make money! I'm an
originalist, and originally, these people could not vote, and that's the
way it should stay.

He's just whining.

By chance, I drove through Cape Coral in January. I didn't see him. How
do we know he really lives there?

If you don't have skin in the game, you should not be allowed to vote.

Does far-left corporate America allow non-stakeholders to vote in
their board of directors elections?

If I show up at an Amazon board meeting with a suitcase full of fake
ballots, will far-left Jeff Bezos allow me to vote my fake shares?
