The real winds haven't even started blowing yet.
This is what happens when liberals refuse to permit governments to clean
up deadfall.
In the case of California, it's what happens when they don't spend the money the federal government gave them to clean up the forests.

They were trying to figure out how to steal that money to cover the excessive state greedy union retirement debt.

Except this isn't a FOREST fire. The city is burning.extreme drought
and high winds spreading fire down city streets. You will see more of
this - not just in California - not just in "blue states".Extreme
climate - no rain for over 9 months - ANYTHING will burn - and burn
furiously with hurricane force winds.
This will be THE NEW NORMAL with EPA etc being gutted and total
disregaurd for climate change.

If climate change is real, why are all the wealthy libtard climate-nutters still flying their gas guzzling private jets?
They can't drive their $120,000 Teslas to Jackson Hole to go skiing?

Climate-nutter's motto:   Gulfstreams for me, rickshaws for thee.

FYI:

Seven months before the uncontrolled Palisades Fire in Los Angeles, the
city's fire department budget for this fiscal year was cut by more than
$17.5 million, records show. Mayor Karen Bass signed the City of Los
Angeles' budget for the 2024-2025 fiscal year.

There is also allocated water supply and some fires could not be
extinguished due to low water pressure.

OK, now show the direct effect.

What would have been different? Would it have prevented the fires from
starting? Did they get rid of equipment?

BTW, because of the wind,it is not possible to use aircraft in the fire
fighting. The budget cuts reduced helicopter training.

The variable overtime hours, called "V-Hours" within the LAFD, were used
to pay for FAA-mandated pilot training and helicopter coordination
staffing for wildfire suppression, the memo said.

Mayor Bass said Wednesday evening the budget cuts did not have an impact
on the LAFD's response to the Palisades and other wildfires.

I don't know (or care) their part affiliation. Evidently you made a
comment but have no facts to associate with it. Why did you bother to
bring it up?
